the difference between lead and rhythm guitars..
rhythm.. how to explain it.. hmm.. pakinggan mo ang strumming / intro ng huling el bimbo.. THAT's rhythm... more or less, rhythm guitarists *sometimes* do plucking... pero most of the time.. he/she's the one doing the strumming... and maybe some riffs too [depends if the band wants sa dual harmonic combo..]

lead? listen to the instrumentals ng toyang... ung part before the 'ti ayat ti maysa nga baro' part... yan ang LEAD.. - more or less, lead guitarists do the plucking...... and most riffs.
